Walk into any grocery store floral department, and you will see rows of uniform, stiff roses and perfectly identical carnations. They are bred for a single purpose: to survive weeks of shipping in dark, refrigerated boxes. In that race for durability, something precious was lost—fragrance, delicate movement, and a true connection to the earth.

On our Indianapolis farm, we chose a different path. We specialize in native and heirloom flowers.

Heirloom varieties are open-pollinated flowers that have been carefully passed down through generations, cherished for their incredible scent and unique forms. Native flowers are the species that have naturally grown and adapted to our local climate and soil over thousands of years.

Choosing these varieties isn't the easiest way to farm, but we believe it is the only way to grow flowers with a soul. Here is why native and heirloom blooms are truly the best:
